We are delighted to congratulate two of our members on their success in the 2023 FDS Research Awards scheme:
Sreedevi Poovathumkadavil Unnikrishnam, University of Aberdeen, who was awarded an FDS Pump-Priming Grant to investigate “What is the contributory role of the mucosal microbiome in determining treatment response to topical steroids in lichen planus?”
and
Christopher Platais, King’s College, London who was awarded an FDS-BISOM Pump Priming Grant for his work on “Artificial intelligence to assist the diagnosis and prognosis of proliferative verrucous leukoplakia.”
